RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

With a distinguished 32-year career at Westpac (and the predecessor Bank of New South Wales), Frank worked in a number of branch and executive management positions in Australia, UK and Hong Kong. He resigned as Westpac CEO and Managing Director in 1992.

He has served as a professional company director on a diverse range of public company and government boards.

Public company Board experience includes as Chairman of St.George Bank, Howard Smith, Orix Australia Corporation, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, Elders Australia, M2 Motorway Bidding Syndicate, and Westpac and Placer Pacific Staff Superannuation. In addition, he has been a Board Director of Santos, Davids, Placer Pacific, Futuris Corporation and Bank of Tokyo (Australia), and a member of the Advisory Boards of P.A. Management Consulting and Allen Allen & Hemsley.

He has also served as Chairman of Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.

Government board and agency experience include Federal Airports Corporation (Chairman), Tourism Forecasting Council (Chairman), NSW Committee for the Australia Remembers Program (Chairman), Australian Defence College, Australia-China Council, Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust of NSW.
